Social Events
Rowing is renowned for seamlessly integrating social activities with the sport itself. Throughout the year the club holds several formal and informal events, from Annual Dinners to Boxing Day football matches and themed parties, which successfully allow everyone to get together outside of training and competing. The social scene, once again, is effectively orchestrated and managed by a sub-committee.
Forthcoming Social Events
04 Feb - Peterborough Head of the River
The clubs annual Head of the River Race takes place on 4th Feb and as part of the occasion the bar will be open in the afternoon.
The bar will also be open later for the Scotland v England rugby international on TV.
27 Jul - Wednesday is Club Night
Every Wednesday evening is club night with the bar open from 7.30pm to 10.30pm. Food usually available from about 8.00pm.
Members socialise after training and past members and friends are always welcome to drop in.
